About AAPI FORCE
We’re building the political power of Asian American and Pacific Islander communities for a better California.
Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders for Civic Empowerment (AAPI FORCE) is a network of grassroots 501(c)(4) Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) organizations across California dedicated to strengthening and expanding democracy while growing the political participation of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
Together, we fight to make sure our communities’ voices are heard across California.
WHO WE ARE
AAPI FORCE unites under one political network to organize for progressive democracy reform that would dismantle systemic barriers to voting; create community-based infrastructures to shape California’s political agenda; and build long-term governing power to cultivate and elect leaders who fight for our diverse communities across the state.
Coalition partners include Chinese Progressive Association Action Fund (San Francisco), Asian Pacific Environmental Network Action & Filipino Advocates for Justice Action Fund (East Bay Area), People Powered Action Fund (Long Beach), Pilipino Action Center (Los Angeles), and AHRI for Justice and OCCET Action (Orange County). AAPI FORCE is a Executive Committee member of Million Voters Project Action Fund and a Statewide Steering Committee member of California Working Families Party.

We have the power to change our communities for the better and shape our collective future.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We know that Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) are a growing political power in California. There are over 4 million AAPI voters in the state, making AAPIs a critical constituency for any political campaign.
However, the growth of conservative Asian groups and disinformation in AAPI communities pose significant threats to multiracial coalition-building and progressive structural reforms. We believe in the power of the people to create a California that works for everyone—where workers are fairly compensated and have safe working conditions; where the rich pay their fair share of taxes; where everyone has access to affordable, quality housing and universal healthcare; and where our communities live in clean and healthy environments.
AAPI FORCE fights to build political power in working-class Asian American and Pacific Islander communities in California. We have the power to hold elected officials accountable, generate progressive leaders from our communities, and mobilize as a force to advance racial, economic, and environmental justice for all.
WHAT WE DO
AAPI FORCE provides campaign support to our state-wide partners, endorses political candidates who fight for our communities, produces in-language voter guides, and organizes around important issues that affect working-class Asian American, Pacific Islander, Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and Queer communities in California.
